Dear Commissioners,
At the Board’s February 6, 2018 regular meeting, Board petitions were brought forth which were
reviewed by the Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below:
1) Review and consider a request on a proposal from Orange County resident, Mr. Holloway, to
straighten property line with his property if the County moves forward with purchase of land for
Northern County Campus at proposed location.
Response: Staff to follow-up with Mr. Holloway during the due diligence process.
2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos, supported by Commissioner Jacobs,
that the Board consider adding an Environmental Impact section to agenda abstracts.
Response: To be scheduled for work session discussion.
3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Chair send a response letter to
Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools (CHCCS) regarding the County’s intentions for the Millhouse
Road property.
Response: Chair is in the process of drafting letter to CHCCS.
