BACKGROUND: At the April 18, 2006 regular meeting the Orange County Commissioners approved the Sportsplex Community Advisory Committee. The item is being brought back to the Board to approve the initial appointments, Suggested Charge of Sportsplex Community Advisory Committee To serve in an advisory capacity to the BOCC and County Management on community issues and interests concerning the Sportsplex facility, Ta be a conduit to the BOCC and County Management for questions, suggestions, special requests, and other items that emerge from the community about Sportsplex operations To help promote the Sportsplex as a vital resource for all residents, and assist in creating positive connections with partners and stakeholders throughout the county.
