Dear Commissioners,
At the Board’s November 2, 2017 regular meeting, petitions were brought forth which were reviewed
by the Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below:
1) In reference to a presentation from Orange County resident Mr. Rob Crook to the Board,, to include Mr.
Crook in the bike path discussions with the Multi-Modal Staff Work Group.
Response: Mr. Crook will be included in bike path discussions
2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Rich that staff follow-up on federal proposal that
telephone companies could utilize local governments’ right of ways without compensating the affected
jurisdictions.
Response: County Attorney to provide information to the Board
3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos that the Board discuss options to address
constant gun noise during late night/early morning hours.
Response: Addressed as part of 11/9/17 work session discussion on ordinances including hour
limitation, good neighbor education program, etc.
