RENEE PRICE Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278 o,, k`� September 27, 2017 Dear Commissioners, At the Board's September 19, 2017 regular meeting,petitions were brought forth which were reviewed by the Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below: 1) Review and consider a request Commissioner Price that the County provide at least $1,000 to support the Frederick Douglas Bicentennial Narrative project. Response: Manager to identify funding and provide information to the Board. 2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that the County draft a statement expressing opposition to the Atlantic Coast pipeline. Response: Commissioners Price and Dorosin to develop additional information and draft statement for Board review and consideration. 3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that staff provide info to the Board on Class A and Class B bio-solids being spread in the County. Response: Staff to develop report to provide to BOCC. 4) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos that the County consider conducting exit interviews with volunteers stepping down from boards and commissions as an information tool to help prompt more people to serve.
