PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2006.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
The Board will consider changing the Quarterly Public Hearing to a Work Session on Monday,
August 28, 2006 and to change the location from the F. Gordon Battle Courtroom to the
Government Services Center in Hillsborough, N.C.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by changing changing the Quarterly Public Hearing to a Work Session on
Monday, August 28, 2006 and to change the location from the F, Gordon Battle Courtroom to
the Government Services Center in Hillsborough, N,C,
