PURPOSE: To consider making reappointments to the Affordable Housing Advisory Board.
BACKGROUND: The terms of Vivian Herndon-Latta and Alejandro Hansen will expire
6/30/2006. They are willing and eligible for reappointment. If reappointed, both will be serving
first full terms ending 6/30/2009.

Board. Elizabeth Preddy has declined another term.
Vivian Herndon-Latta had four excused absences in 2005 and two excused absences in 2006 Alejandra Hansen was
just appointed in December 2005 and she has attended all meetings since her appointment.
Also, the Board will not have an opportunity to make recommendations regarding new board appointments prior to June
30th due to their meeting schedule.

communicating with Chrystal Fisher of the Orange County Housing and LandTrust to aid

the Orange County Housing and Land Ttrust, and I live and work among small families,
students, and the members of the blue collar base of Carrboro, I believe I can add a
