In addition, Dr. Alice White is completing her second term of service on June

I am a registered nurse with 10 years of trauma experience and over 15 years

the opportunity to work meet and work with many residents of Orange County and
various service organizations to include the Orange County Health Department. I grew

I greatly appreciate the value that sustainable farming adds to the local community.

Other Comments:
I have a great interst in supporting community efforts to improve the environment for
diverse individuals, In both employment and volunteer positions, I have worked with
community organizations representing diverse communities and have made inclusion of
such activities an important part of my career and personal focus. I believe in the
fundamental right of all people to have full access to public services, employment and
living opportunities, and individual dignity. I also believe it takes individuals dedicated to
ensuring there is a safe place for those who experience discrimination to turn to in order
to help resolve specific situations and to create a broader community climate of
acceptance.
I am also very intersted in participating an the Orange County Board of Health. Although
the current vacant position is for a veterinarian, should a position for an at-large member
arise, I would be happy to discuss such a position with you, I have extensive experience
in working with local public health at both the local (county) and state levels as both an
employee and as a contract manager, STAFF COMMENTS: Originally applied for
