Dear Comrades,
At the Board's June 20, 2017 regular meeting,petitions were brought forth which were reviewed by the
Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below:
1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the Board receive a presentation on the
Lands Legacy Program status/etc. in fall 2017.
Response:Lands Legacy Triennial Action Plan is due to come to BOCC in November.
2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that the analysis of House Bill 795 by Steve
Brantley be sent to NCACC.
Response: Bill has been put on hold in General Assembly; staff will continue to monitor, and analyze
if/when the bill moves forward.
3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that the Board discuss a process for receiving
reports from advisory boards at a fall work session.
Response: To be reviewed and considered as item for 9/7/2017 work session.
