PURPOSE:. To make a special presentation to Beverly Blythe and Kathy Baker
who serve as Clerk to the Board and Deputy Clerk.
BACKGROUND: Beverly Blythe and Kathy Baker have been awarded the
International Institute of Municipal Clerks' designation of CERTIFIED
MUNICIPAL CLERK. Beverly is the ninth County Clerk to receive this award
in the state and Kathy Baker is the first Deputy Clerk in the state to
receive such an award. This prestigious award is attained through a
combination of education and experience. It is the highest standard of
professionalism in the Clerk's profession.
RECOMMENDATION(S) : That the County Commissioners recognize and present the
award to Beverly Blythe and Kathy Baker for their hard work and
dedication to their profession.
