This contract also included Construction Administrative Services. During the construction of the restroom at the Rogers Road Community Center it was found that a support header was needed for the new door to be installed as the wall to be opened is a load bearing wall. This design required a Structural Engineer to design and provide stamped drawings. This contract amendment is to add an additional $225.00 to Statler Gilfillen Architect's contract to cover the cost for the additional structural engineer services required. P.O. Reason for Change: This change request is for additional Structural Engineering Services.The Rogers Road Community Center Restroom required a new door to be installed.During construction it was found that this door was to be installed under a load bearing wall.Due to this wall being a load bearing wall,one additional header was required to be installed for support.This required additonal structural design to be performed to ensure the header for the support was sized correctly.
