The scope of work included installing a roof access hatch and protective railing around the roof hatch. The new hatch and protective railing was installed in March, 2017 and the OC Inspections department was called for final inspections. The OC Inspections department rejected the final permit sign-off until additional protective railing was installed to be at minimum 30" from the roof hatch opening. Attached is the inspection report from OC Inspections. This contract amendment is to add an additional $521.00 to Baker Roofing's contract to cover the cost for the additional protective railing.
