Dear Comrades,
At the Board's May 16, 2017 regular meeting,petitions were brought forth which were reviewed by the
Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below:
1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos that the Board review again at an
upcoming meeting the May 2, 2017 item regarding WASMPBA, and include ramifications if Board
changes its decision as requested by Commissioner Rich.
Response: Scheduled for June 6, 2017 Regular BOCC Meeting.
2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Marcoplos, which had been previously petitioned,
regarding local planners and local developers begin meeting to review the development process in the
County and towns to identify ways to improve that process.
Response: Manager and Planning Director to pursue.
3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that staff send out periodic reminders to groups
that have contact with seniors concerning the availability of Nutrition and other programs.
Response: Staff to pursue.
4) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that staff follow-up on request to re-name the
Emergency Services Building and the proposal be scheduled for Board discussion.
Response: Scheduled for June 6, 2017 Regular BOCC Meeting.
