PURPOSE: To consider two changes in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2006.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
The Board of Commissioners has been invited to attend the next regular meeting of the
Orange County Clean Water Committee, on Monday, March 20'h at 6:30 p.m. at the
Cedar Grove Fire Department, 5912 Penecost Rd., Cedar Grove. N,C. and is asked to
consider adding this as a meeting to their regular meeting calendar.
The Board is asked to consider adding a meeting on Thursday, March 23, 2006 from
12:15-2:15 in the BOCC Office at Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead
Road, Chapel Hill, N,C. for the purpose of interviewing consultant firm candidates related
to the search far a county manager.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their
regular meeting calendar by addinq~ a meeting of the Orange County Clean Water
Committee, on Monday, March 20' at 6:30 p.m. at the Cedar Grove Fire Department,
5912 Penecost Rd., Cedar Grove, N.C, to their regular meeting calendar, and to add a
meeting on Thursday, March 23, 2006 from 12:15-2:15 in the BOCC Office at Southern
Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, N.C. for the purpose of
interviewing consultant firm candidates related to the search far a county manager.
