SUBJECT: Historic Rogers Road Sewer Project Advertisement and Bid Schedule
The Historic Rogers Road Sewer Project request for proposals will be advertised by
Orange Water and Sewer Authority (OWASA) on March 22, 2017. Seven construction
companies have been pre-qualified through review by OWASA, the consulting engineer.
(AECOM), and Orange County.
Bidders will have a month to respond with their proposals and the bid opening will be at
OWASA's main office at 400 Jones Ferry Road, Carrboro, NC on April 25, 2017.
Orange County, OWASA, and AECOM will review all bids. AECOM will provide their
recommendation for the low bidder most qualified to perform the work and then the
selected consultant will be presented to. the Orange County Board of County
Commissioners for project award at the May 6th BOCC meeting.
