PURPOSE: To consider making reappointments to the Nursing Home Community Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's Office has received recommendations from the Nursing Home
Community Advisory Committee for the reappointment of Mary Ann Peter and Pat Koch. Both
are eligible and willing to be reappointed. If reappointed, both would be serving full terms,
which will end 6/30/2009.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making reappointments to the Nursing Home Community Advisory
Committee.

I wanted to let you lrnow that both Mary Ann Peter and Pat Koch, who are up for reappointment, wish to
be reappointed to the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee.
Mary Ann Peter has had 100% attendance in the past year. She was also awarded a Regional Advocacy
Award in April of 2006 at Triangle J Area Agency on Aging's Community Advisory Committee
Education and Appreciation Day in April of 2006. Only 3 Community Advisory Committee members
received this award, out of 12 committees and 176 member slots.
Pat Koch was a visitor on 5/1/06 and became a full member after that. She has only missed one meeting
on 3/5/07.
Both members have fulfilled their obligations for malculg site visits to facilities.
. Sheila White will be cycling off the Committee, as she has served 7 years and is not eligible for
reappointment.
