PURPOSE: To change the meeting date for the Board of County Commissioners
regular meeting scheduled for June 16, 1993 and to cancel the meeting
scheduled for June 17, 1993 .
BACKGROUND: A request to change the meeting date from June 16, 1993 to
June 15, 1993 has been tentatively approved by all County Commissioners.
This abstract will officially change the meeting date and cancel the
meeting scheduled for June 17, 1993 .
RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve the "Notice of Change of Meeting Date" as
provided pursuant to N.C.G.S. 153-40.

NOTICE OF
CHANGE OF DATE OF MEETING
OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, General Statute 153A-40 (a) requires the Board of
County Commissioners to fix the time and place of its regular
meetings; and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to change the date of the regular
meeting scheduled for June 16, 1993 at 7 : 30 p.m. to June 15, 1993
at 7: 30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Government Services Center
in Hillsborough, North Carolina; and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to cancel the regular meeting
scheduled for June 17, 1993 ;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the June 16, 1993 regular meeting shall be held
on June 15, 1993 at 7 :30 p.m. in the meeting room of the Government
Services Center in Hillsborough, North Carolina and that the
meeting scheduled for June 17, 1993 be canceled.
This notice is provided pursuant to North Carolina General
Statute 153-40.
