PURPOSE: To schedule a public hearing on school capital facility fees
for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro district for Tuesday, May 18, 1993.
BACKGROUND: At the April 20 meeting, the Board directed staff to '
pursue the attached implementation plan on school capital facility
fees. Staff recommends that the Board formally schedule a public
hearing on this subject for Tuesday, May 18, 1993 at 7:00pm at the
OWASA Meeting Room on Jones Ferry Road in Carrboro. Scheduling of the
May 24 public hearing is addressed in the agenda item dealing with the
advertisement for the May 24 quarterly public hearing.
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board schedule a
meeting to conduct a public hearing on school capital facility
fees for the Chapel Hill-Carrboro School District at 7 :00pm, May 18,
1993, at the OWASA Meeting Room in Carrboro.
