PURPOSE: To formally approve the Commissioners' Adopted Goals for
1993-94 .
BACKGROUND: At their annual Planning Retreat on December 12, 1992,
the County Commissioners provided direction to staff on amendments and
additions to the current package of Board goals. In March 1993, staff
prepared a draft of updated goals, objectives, action plans, and
timetables for review by the Board. At the April 5 meeting, the Board
of Commissioners scheduled a public hearing for May 18 to receive
citizen comments on the 1993-94 goals, their priority, and their impact
upon the 1993-94 County budget.
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board approve the
1993-94 Board goals.
