PURPOSE: To establish a public hearing date to receive comments from
citizens about the proposed 1993-98 Capital Improvement Plan.
BACKGROUND: Each year, as part of the review process for the annual
update to the County's Capital Improvement Plan, the Board of
Commissioners conducts a public hearing to receive comments from
citizens about various elements of the Manager' s Recommended CIP. The
proposed 1993-98 CIP is being presented for information only to the
Board at this March 8 meeting. Staff suggests that the Board schedule
a public hearing on the CIP for the subsequent regular meeting of
the Board of Commissioners on March 23 .
RECOMMENDATION: The Manager recommends that the Board set the public
hearing on the CIP for March 23 , 1993 at 7 : 30pm at the OWASA Meeting
Room in Carrboro.
