PURPOSE: To consider increasing the monthly stipend for ABC Board Members.
BACKGROUND: Paul Williams, Chair of the ABC Board has requested that the
Board consider increasing the monthly stipend. He asks that the stipend
for Board members be increased from $50. 00 to $100. 00 and from $100.00 to
$150 for the Chair. The current stipends were set in 1969. Attached is a
schedule of Board stipends from other systems in the state. These
expenses are paid by ABC operating revenues.
RECOMMENDATION(S) : To approve increasing the monthly stipend for ABC Board
members to $100. 00 and for the ABC Board Chair to $150. 00 effective
February 1, 1993 .
