PURPOSE: To consider making reappointments to the Information Technology Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND: The Information Technology Advisory Committee is recommending the
reappointment of Frederick Brown and Shang Yin. Both are members in good standing and are
willing and eligible for reappointment. If reappointed, both will be serving second full terms,
which will end 12/31 /2009.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making reappointments to the Information Technology Advisory
Committee.

The terms of three members of the Advisory Board on Aging will expire on June 30, 2007. All
are eligible and agree to serve another term. They are Ms. Florence Soltys, a resident of Chapel
Hill representative; Dr. Janice Wassel, an at-large representative; and Mr. Fred Schroeder, a
resident of Chapel Hill representative. Each has been a vital contributor to the board. At the April
1 l~' meeting, the Advisory Board approved recommending the re-appointment of these members.
