PURPOSE: To officially appoint Kathy Baker as Deputy County Clerk so that
various functions and duties can be performed in the absence of the Clerk
to the Board.
BACKGROUND: Whenever there is a court case involving a County Ordinance,
it is necessary that certified copies of that particular ordinance be
provided to the Judge. By approving the following resolution, Kathy Baker
will be able to provide these documents in the absence of the Clerk as
well as perform other duties when the Clerk is not available.
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING KATHY BAKER AS DEPUTY COUNTY CLERK
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RESOLVES:
Section 1. Kathy Baker is hereby appointed as Deputy County Clerk
for the County of Orange. As Deputy County Clerk, Ms. Baker shall
perform all the duties and functions of the County Clerk in the absence
of the County Clerk.
Section 2. This resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve the resolution as stated above.
