PURPOSE: To change the meeting location for the Board of County
Commissioners regular meeting scheduled for February 1, 1993 .
BACKGROUND: At the County Commissioners Goal Setting Retreat held on
December 12, 1992 , the Board set as one of their goals to hold one of
their regular meetings in each of the seven townships beginning February
1, 1993 . It is suggested that the February 1, 1993 meeting be held at the
Caldwell Community Building in Little River Township.
RECOMMENDATION(S) : Approve the "Notice of Change of Meeting Place" as
provided pursuant to N.C.G.S. 153-40.

NOTICE OF
CHANGE OF PLACE OF MEETING
OF
THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
WHEREAS, General Statute 153A-40(a) requires the Board of
County Commissioners to fix the time and place of its regular
meetings; and
WHEREAS, this Board desires to change the place of the regular
meeting scheduled for February 1, 1993,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners that the February 1, 1993 regular meeting shall be
held at the Caldwell Community Building, Highway 147 in Caldwell,
North Carolina (Little River Township) at 7: 30 p.m.
This notice is provided pursuant to North Carolina General
Statute 153-40.
