PURPOSE: To proclaim December 11th Senator P.u-4,:a.1 , Wa ; '-7r 0-s Ru' h
Walker Day .
BACKGROUND:
Senator Walker has been State Senator for over 20 years during which time he
and Mrs . Walker have been friends to all Orange County citizens , They
been supportive of all citizens , including children , the mentally ill , snd
those living in poverty . They have also been strong advocates for education
and the environment . For this reason and many others , this day is being set
aside to honor Senator and. Mrs . Walker ,
RECOMMENDATION:
Proclaim December 11th as Senator Russell Walker and Mrs . Ruth Walker Day and
authorize the Chair to sign .
