PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2007.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
- The Board will consider amending its regular meeting calendar by adding
a Joint Meeting with the Chatham County Commissioners on Tuesday,
May 8, 2007 at 7:OOpm at the Southern Human Services Center, 2501
Homestead Road, in Chapel Hill, N.C.
The Chair will be sending letters to the Towns of Chapel Hill, Carrboro, and
Pittsboro and to OWASA inviting representatives of those entities to the meeting
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by adding a Joint Meeting with the Chatham County Commissioners on
Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 7:OOpm at the Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead
Road, in Chapel Hill, N.C.
