BACKGROUND: The Orange County Transportation Development Plan outlines
types of client transportation to be provided and the human

specify the vehicle assignments, the per-mile rate charge,

Transportation Board endorsed the FY 94-95 rate schedule as
follows:
14 passenger van - $.35/mile
24 passenger bus - $.45/mile
32 passenger bus - $.55/mile
Driver charge - $10.00/hour
These rates were included in the Department's approved
revenue budget. The Agreements also clarify the benefits
and responsibilities of the various parties involved in the
provision of transportation.
The Taxi Provider Agreements set reimbursement at a rate
not to exceed $1.35 per mile for those trips which cannot
be provided directly by CAT.
RECOMMENDATION(S) :
The Manager recommends approval and Chair to sign
CAT Agreements for Vehicle Lease, Driver Assignments
