Dear Commissioners,
At the Board's June 21, 2016 regular meeting,petitions were brought forth which were reviewed by the
Chair/Vice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below:
1) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs based on comments from multiple Board
members that staff plan a social event to occur after Labor Day for the BOCC and both school boards to
allow opportunity for relationship building.
Response: Done. Scheduled for September 22, 2016 from 5pm-7pm at Blackwood Farm Park.
2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that follow-up occur on the status of
report on salaries for law enforcement officers that Commissioner Price previously requested.
Response: DONE
3) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Price that the County Attorney review the
recent Broadband announcement by the state and provide feedback/interpretation to the Board
regarding impacts for Orange County.
Response: DONE
