PURPOSE: To consider one change to the Board of Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for 2016.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule:
• To re-schedule the date of the Joint Meeting between Orange County Board of
Commissioners TO Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 7:00pm at the Southern Human
Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, in Chapel Hill.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
SOCIAL JUSTICE IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends the Board amend its regular meeting
calendar for 2016:
• To re-schedule the date of the Joint Meeting between Orange County Board of
Commissioners and the Chapel Hill Town Council TO Thursday, June 2, 2016 at
7:00pm at the Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, in
Chapel Hill.
