PURPOSE: To renew lease for Solid Waste Convenience Center at the
Bradsher Quarry site in Bingham Township owned by Dr. James
Thompson and wife, Betty A. Thompson.
BACKGROUND: The initial lease period was June 5, 1989 - June 5, 1994 at
a rate of $50.00 per month. The size of the site is one
acre. We are proposing renewing the lease for a period of
five (5) years effective June 6, 1994 - June 5, 1999 at a
rate of $100.00 per month.
RECOMMENDATION: To approve lease renewal.

WHEREAS, an lease agreement was made and entered into as of the 5th day of June, 1989 by and
between Orange County, hereinafter referred to as the COUNTY, and Dr. James Thompson and
wife, Betty A.Thompson, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, for property to be used as a solid
waste collection site.
WHEREAS, the COUNTY and the OWNER mutually agree to the following:
1. The agreement will be continued for a period beginning June 6,1994 and ending at 12:00
midnight on June 5,1999.
2. The amount of rent paid per month shall be$100.
