I would like to recommend the appointment of Susan Taylor to the Orange County Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee. She attended a meeting of the committee on Monday, July 9, has applied on-line for membership, and is well qualified for the committee's work. She is a resident of Orange County, has a BS degree in microbiology as well as an MBA. She is a volunteer member of the Orange County Rescue Squad (OCRs) and has spent hundreds of hours serving Orange County in this capacity. I have worked with her for two years when we were both members of the Board of Directors of the OCRs and 1 gained a great respect for her intelligence, judgment and commitment to the community. 1 hope that the BOCC will appoint her at their next meeting.
