PURPOSE: Consider making new appointments to the Human Services Advisory Commission.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received recommendations from the Human Services
Advisory Commission for the following: Jerry Passmore and Robin Barnhill. If appointed both
volunteers will be serving partial terms ending 3/31/2009.

recommend the reappointment of the following lnelnbers.

These individuals are members in good standuig who have contributed to the goals of
HSAC and met expectations for attendance. An attendance siunmary sheet is attached.
Additionally, the HSAC voted to recommend the following individuals to fill two
available "at large" positions. Their volunteer applications are attached.

my volunteer writings to the governrrlent the needs of the nation and its people I have
helped people from the poorest to the wealthiest. This has given me great pleasure
seeing programs being put in place to help a wide scope of people from the least to the
greatest. The Presidents wrote me back and asked me to stay involved. I now say it is
time for me to reach into the depths of.the people to get even more involved and get
