PURPOSE: To consider making an appointment to the Jury Commission.
BACKGROUND: The following appointment is for Board consideration:
• Appointment to a first full term (position #1) "At-Large — BOCC Appointee" expiring
06/30/2017. NOTE: This position has been held by Bob Hall for 6 full terms of 2
years each at the recommendation of the Clerk of Court, due to Bob Hall's
extensive background and experience.

appointment to the Jury Commission.

My undergraduate degrees are in English and Political Science, with a minor in Sociology. My
Master s degree is in English, although at one time I thought about going to law school. Serving
as a Guardian ad Litem I have spent time inside the courtroom (civil, family and criminal court)
where I enjoy serving the community and seeing the law in action. Perhaps some day I will
attend law school, but for now I would love the opportunity to serve on this commission to help
prepare the master jury list.
