PURPOSE: To consider making a new appointment to the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors
Bureau.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Chapel
Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau for Dave Gephart. If appointed he will be serving a partial
term ending 12/312008.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making a new appointment to the Chapel Hill/Orange County

recommendation for Dave Gephart to be appointed to the Visitors Bureau Board effective
January 1, 2008 begituung his first term and ending December 31, 201, as stated under
the conditions of the Visitors Bureau Bylaws.
Gephart will serve in the interest of the historic community through the board seat held
by the Alliance for Historic Hillsborough.
