The Hoard of Commissioners of Oranr_,e County met in en adjourned meeting
on Thursdny, Jssly 2, 1953, at 7:30 o~cl ock P. 'ri., in the Con¢niss loners' Room
at the Courthouse.
Mombera present: Chairman R. 0. ri'orrset end Commissioners Sim L.
Hfland and R. J. ii. Robbs.
The purpose of this meeting ryas to studg the proposed budget requests.
Chairman Porre at than brought to the attention of the Board that the
County should consider purchasing the property adjoining the nerr courthouse
lot on the South.
After a thorough discussion of this matter, Commissioner Bfland moved
that the Chairmen of the Hoard be granted authority to negot iete with the
ormers of tho adjoining property relntiva to the purchase thereof by the
County. This motion eras seconded b9 Commissioner Hobbs and unanimouslg
passed.
There being no SWther business, upon motion, adjourned.
