PURPOSE: To consider making reappointments to the Nursing Home Community Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received recommendations for the reappointments to
the Nursing Home Community Advisory Committee for the following people: Carol Hierman and
Anne Winfield. If reappointed Ms. Hierman and Ms. Winfield will be serving first full terms
ending 12/31 /2010.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making reappointments to the Nursing Home Community Advisory

I hope you are well! I am contacting you in regards to reappointments to the Nursing Home and Adult Care
Home Community Advisory Committees (CAC).
Nursing Home_CAC: •
Both Carol Hierman and Anne Winfield are eligible for reappointment in December 2007. Both ladies
wish to be appointed and are members in good standing. Both have attended their required team visits to
facilities and have attended 4 of 6 business meetings in the past year.
Adult Care Home CAC:
Laura DeLoye's term expires 11.14.07. She was originally appointed 05.15.01. Since committee
members can serve 7 years, and her appointments did not cover full-year terms as directed by the
statute, would it be possible for her to be reappointed to have an expiration date of 05.15.08? She
serves as Chair and is an invaluable member of the committee! She has attended every single CAC meeting
and made all of her required visits in the past year.
Will you please let me know that you received this so 1'll know it isn't lost in cyberspace? Please don't
