BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Carrboro Board of Adjustment for John Gant. If appointed Mr. Gant will be serving a full term ending 2/28/2010. A RESOLUTION REQUESTING AN APPOINTNDNT TO A TRANSITION AREA SEAT ON THE CARRBORO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT Resolution No. 36/2007-2008 W[~REAS, as a result of a vacancy, it is necessary to appoint a person to a seat reserved on the Carrt,orr L~eard .~f A_*djustn;ent for. pexsous rPCidif_g within the, town's Transition .Area; and WHEREAS, by state statute and town ordinance, the Orange County Board of Commissioners initially has the authority and responsibility to appoint Transition Area members to the town's Board of Adjustment.
