This is in reg rd to your notice of a public hearing on August 29, 1977,
concerning the rezoning request of Mr. . Tiomas Oakes to change the class-
ification of a 1.6 acre tract on lawrencc Road in Eno Township from
Residential to General Ind:str.iai.
The present ch ratter of ti•e area in question is primaril.v residential and
low intensity arming. I understand that ' r. ;sates desire:3 to establish a
location for t manufacture of septic tank.; . I feel that- such an enterprise
or similar act vity will generate an increased level of :ist, noise and traffic:

subsequent busi ess regarding the rezoning, request.
It is my obsery tion, based on study and personal observation, that spot rezoning
to allow such a exceptional change in land use negates the value of such tools
to the communit in their attempt to balance public and private interests.
