The Hoard of Commis sippers for the County of Orange, met on 1SOnday, Novem-

The Hoard then renowed discussion ¢s to the matter of letting a contrect
for the appraisal of all taxable reel property of commerciel and industrial
est eblishme nts and pars opal property o" indus trl¢l estebl ishments ezclus ive of
inventory and certain nubl is utilities. It :vas stated that The J. ". Cleminsh e'
Company would perform this wog'- end that the methods, etc, to be used had bean
generellp outlined to the Hoerd, The Said J. ". Cleminshet Company proposed
to _"urnish ell services, materials and nsrform ¢11 :vorl: for the nreoar¢ti on of
e taz esse ss pr's manual, cost schedules, +nd the appraisal of all properties es
mitlined to the Hoard for the sum of fi18, 500.00 provided the short form of
inechinery appraisal is used, or F'22,000.00 provided tho lone ^orm of machinery

the type of machinery appraisal was offi ciellg riven to t7±e Company not later
the^. February 2, 1953 The said Company r:ould be gin the work by January 15,
1g53, end template the same by February 1, 195h, provided further that all
Work would be completed and delivered to the Couatg by July 1, 1953, with the
exception of per; buildings finallg coastruc fed between July 1, 1953 and Decem-
ber 31, 1853.
The definitions, ;general conditions, and the type of work to be performed
to be set forth in the contrect bebnoen the said Comneny and the County sub'
stentially the some as outlined in e °orn of contrect furnished the Hoard of
Commissioners bg 1!r. Henry Lswis of The Institute of Government,
Hoar, upon motion of Commissioner Forrest, duly seconded by 6ommisslonsr

outlined above be accepted end that The Chairmen of the Hoerd of
Commnissioners of Orange County is heroby authorized and directed
to upon behalf of the County execute with The J. :2, Cleminshem Com-
pang a contrect for the said work upon the terms as outlined above

end upon condition th et the said S, '"., Cleminshaw Company shall make
an option to the County that the said Company :will eze cute another con-
tract ¢n of July 6, 1953 covering the appraisal of ell tenable re ¢1
nropo rty exclusive of industrial and commerciel nronertg, end ell
personal property of cpmnerc3 al establishments exclusive of inventory
as outlined in the general specifications of the ori;;inel contrect

the first contract above mentioned mill make the total cost of the
