At the Board's March 3, 2015 regular meeting, petitions were brought forth which were reviewed by the
ChairNice Chair/Manager Agenda team. The petitions and responses are listed below:
1) Review and consider a request that the County consult with Mebane regarding the proposed Orange -
Alamance line change that would place the remaining part of Mill Creek subdivision in Alamance
County.
Response: County Manager to consult with Alamance County Manager.
2) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Pelissier that the Board receive a copy of the
County's telecommuting policy, if there is one, and if not, that the Manager proceed with
development of a policy.
Response: County Manager to provide information to the Board.
3) Review and consider request by Commissioner Jacobs that the County consider locating a plaque
at the Whitted Center noting all the past winners of the Pauli Murray Awards.
Response: Public Affairs Office to design with names from Housing, Human Rights and
Community Development and installation by AMS.
4) Review and consider a request by Commissioner Jacobs that staff provide information to the
Board on policies of water and sewer providers related to system fails, overflow damages, and
compensation to those damaged.
Response: County Manager to consult with water and sewer providers and bring back
information to the Board.
