SUBJECT: Change in BOCC Regular Meeting Schedule for 2008

PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2008.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
The Board will consider amending its regular meeting calendar by changing the JPA meeting,
originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 29th at 7:30pm at Southern Human Services Center in
Chapel Hill, to a Joint Greene Tract Work Session, with the Town of Chapel Hill and the Town of
Carrboro.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by changing the JPA meeting, originally scheduled for Tuesday, April 29th at
7:30pm at Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill, to a Joint Greene Tract Work
Session, with the Town of Chapel Hill and the Town of Carrboro.
