PURPOSE: To consider making a new appointment to the Arts Commission.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Arts
Commission for Gordon Jameson. If appointed Gordon Jameson will take the place of Dan
Barker. He will serve a full term ending 3/31/2011.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.

RE: Board Appointment
The Orange County Arts Commission would like to recommend Gordon
Jameson to be appointed to the Orange County Arts Commission, to
replace Dan Barker who is not seeking reappointment when his term
expires on March 31, 2008.
Gordon Jameson, a resident of Hillsborough, has served on the OCAC
board for 2 terms in the past. He is now eligible for appointment and has
expressed an interest in serving again by submitting his volunteer
application to Orange County.
