Please reference Pages 5, 15 and 23 where I've highlighted the appropriate Information for our condition on the McGowan Interceptor project. As recommended by the pipe manufacturer, 12"CL 350 can be Installed at depths up to 28' in Type 4 or 5 laying conditions. In lieu of the concrete cap,we therefore propose Installing the 12" CL350 DIP in the deeper sections(greater than 24') utilizing the Type 5 laying conditions criteria of bedding the pipe in compacted crushed stone 4" below the pipe and backfllling with compacted crushed stone to the top of the pipe. Please advise If this proposal is acceptable.
