PURPOSE: To determine the process by which decision may be
reached on the proposed I-40/Old 86 Economic
Development District.
BACKGROUND: During the course of discussion on Economic
Development Districts at the March 2 County
Commissioners' Meeting, several ideas were expressed
on the process to pursue in making a decision on the
proposed I-40/Old 86 Economic Development District.
However, additional time was needed and has been
scheduled at the March 15 meeting to complete that
discussion.
RECOMMENDATION: As the Board decides.
