PURPOSE: To consider approving a dedication of electrical site lighting utilities built to service
the Orange County Northern Park.
BACKGROUND: Duke Energy is requesting this dedication in order to properly service the
electrical site lighting utilities installed to service Northern Park. The utilities are depicted on the
attached Site Lighting Utility Plan Engineered Drawing.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with the dedication of site lighting
lines to Duke Power. However, there will be monthly fees associated with the lighting at the
completion of the park.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board approve the dedication of
these utilities to Duke Power as presented, and to authorize the Chair to sign on behalf of the
Board.
