PURPOSE: To approve proposed budget ordinance amendment .
BACKGROUND:
The Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau Board approved, at their
November meeting, a revision to the Visitors Bureau 1993-94 budget .
The amended budget reflects the revenue collections for 1992-93 which
were over earlier projections as well as revised revenue estimates for
1993-94 . The additional funds, totalling $21, 529, will be used
primarily for reprinting the "Visitors Guide to Chapel Hill/Orange
County" . The attached budget amendment reflects this requested change.
RECOMMENDATION:
The Manager recommends that the Board of County Commissioners adopt the
proposed budget amendment.
