PURPOSE: To consider for approval the regular meeting schedule for the
Board of County Commissioners for calendar year 1996.
BACKGROUND: In accordance with 143. 318 . 12 of the General Statutes, a
schedule of regular meetings shall be filed with the Clerk to the Board
of County Commissioners. The schedule must show the date, time and
place of each meeting.
The schedule provides for continuing the township meetings and two
televised meetings. The schedule also lists the Joint Planning public
hearings, Assembly of Governments and the budget public hearings and
work sessions. There are a total of 44 meetings scheduled.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Board of County Commissioners Meeting
Calendar as presented.
