PURPOSE: To officially add one Special Meeting and change the location
of the Quarterly Public Hearing scheduled for November 27, 1995.
BACKGROUND:
A special meeting will be held on December 4, 1995 at 5: 30 p.m. at the
Government Services Center in Hillsborough (prior to the Regular
meeting already scheduled for 7 : 30 p.m. at the Old Courthouse in
Hillsborough) for the purpose of receiving information about and
discussion of "Welfare Reform and Block Grants and their impact on
local families" . The location for the Quarterly Public Hearing
scheduled for November 27, 1995 has been changed from the new County
Courthouse to the Old Courthouse in Hillsborough at 7 : 30 p.m.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve adding one Special Meeting for December 4 and
changing the location for the November 27, 1995 meeting from the new
County Courthouse to the Old Courthouse in Hillsborough.
