PURPOSE: To officially change the date of a regular Board of
Commissioners meeting from August 15 to August 22.
BACKGROUND: Two County Commissioners will be out-of-town on August 15,
the date set for the second regular meeting in August. It is suggested
that this meeting be moved to August 22. General Statute 153A-40 (a)
requires the Board of County Commissioners to fix the time and place of
its regular meetings.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve changing the August 15, 1995 regular meeting to
August 22, 1995 to be held in the OWASA community meeting room, 400 Jones
Ferry Road, Carrboro, North Carolina beginning at 7:30 p.m.
