Monday, May 19r 1952
The Hoard met at 9 o~clock A. M., with fitr. W. E. Easterling, Secretary
of the Borth Carolina Local Government Commies ion.
The proposed method of financing the construction of the new proposed
Courthouse was discussed at this meeting. Following Etr. Easterl iag~s sugges-
ti.oa, the Board postponed indefinitely the sale of the bond. anticipat ion note,
which was scheduled to be Bold on May 27, 1952.
There being no further bus inesa to come before this meeting, upon motion,
adjourned.

Immediately following the ad~ovrnment of the above meeting, the Board
convened as a Board of Equalization and Aevlew, which was ad,journad from a
meeting held on March 17, 1952•
There ware a fem complaints brought to the attention of the Board during
the morning. .The afternoon wen spent investigating the complaints andmaking
ad ~uatmenta in a few cases.
There being no further business, upon motion, adjourned.
