BACKGROUND: The Human Services Advisory Commission would like to request that two of the currently vacant at-large positions on this Commission be dedicated to the Community- In-Schools (C.I.S.) Program and to the Partnership for Young Children (P.Y.C.). They also request that Charlotte Jones with C.I.S. and Anita Daniels and Sue Russell with P.Y.0 be appointed to fill these positions. The Commission members believe that both of these programs would be extremely useful to the work of the Commission and that both programs are extremely well networked with other Orange County Human Service Agencies. This connection would be very useful to the cooperation the Human Services Advisory Commission is attempting to foster. 1) Application is attached for Charlotte Jones C.I.S. 2) Applications are attached for Sue Russell and Anita Daniels. They have agreed to share this position, if approved by the Board of Commissioners. RECOMMENDATION: Approve as requested by the Human Services Advisory Commission 2 Board : Human Services Adv .
